Lunaya was the most architecturally stunning Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts definitely considered every fine detail from the quality of the bathroom products, and towels right down to the beautiful hand made plates in the kitchen. I loved the plunge pool. They even provided lockers that were really convenient so that I could store my luggage after check-out. The management team sent me a list of recommended restaurants, and the location is less than a block from the best part of Punta Zicatela. I can't wait to go back to this little slice of heaven
 

Our stay at Lunaya was probably our favorite lodging experience of all time. The architecture is somehow more stunning than the photos—each detail is so thoughtful. It was a totally relaxing and private experience, but its location was perfect for when we wanted to hit the beach or go out for some food and cocktails. We couldn’t recommend these villas more highly. We’ll be back!
 

It was a surprise staying at Jame's house. My favorite feature was the private outside patio. Ideal for lying under the stars for saltwater swimming. Big fan of the size of the bathroom. Ideal for a couple. Highly recommended and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

This private oasis is a rustic combination of artisanal concrete, clay, and wood-designed in such a way as to beg the question "is this heaven?" We were able to truly live in it: prepare simple meals, sleep soundly, access the beach and surrounding shops with ease. The bed, the bathtub, and the pool are larger than pictures would make you believe larger than your heart could desire.
 

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lunaya Villas in Puerto Escondido for a few days and it was an unforgettable experience! The villas themselves are stunning, combining modern amenities with a charming aesthetic that perfectly complements the natural beauty of the surroundings. All villas come with a private pool and a kitchen. You literally have everything you need! The location is ideal – just a short walk to the beach, where you can enjoy the sun, surf, and spectacular sunsets. The staff at Lunaya Villas went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were always available to offer recommendations for local activities and dining.

Fantastic luxury villas with an unbeatable location just a block from the beach. My villa was super spacious with great furnishings and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The serene private terrace and pool really make it difficult to pull yourself away and see the surroundings. Great staff that was welcoming and communicative.

Honestly……. This was one of the best places I’ve stayed EVER. Everyone was so attentive and friendly, the room was beautifully done and the vibes were unmatched! I literally want to live here. The location is *chefs kiss* -so close to town, beach, etc etc. I cannot wait to return 100% recommend.
 

Very beautiful place with a great location on the tip! The small private pool is ideal for hot days and I was so happy that there was filtered water available to drink. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb! The hosts were very helpful with taxis and scooters.

Villas Lunaya is an absolute gem in Puerto Escondido, and our two-night stay there left us speechless. This tranquil oasis is just a stone's throw away from the beach with the most beautiful sunsets and surrounded by fantastic restaurants, making it the perfect location. 

The villa itself is a work of art, with meticulous attention to detail in every aspect. We found it hard to leave the villa and enjoyed working in such a peaceful environment while basking in the sun and taking dips in the pool.

I consider myself a well-traveled individual, and I can confidently say that Lunaya is, without a doubt, the best place I have ever had the privilege to experience and we can't wait to return to this paradise. Thank you, Lunaya, for making our stay unforgettable! 

In a world full of misleading photos, it's so rare that a place like this not only meets expectations, but blows them out of the water. Lunaya easily has to be one of the most exciting and exclusive places i've visited in all my travels. I stayed there for 2 nights with my girlfriend and we never wanted to leave. It's private without feeling isolated and decadent whilst keeping a relaxed feel throughout. The natural light is incredible, all the way through the day. Every detail is considered and if you do need anything then the staff are super accommodating to help. The only thing i'd say is it sucks when you have to leave!

This place was AMAZING. We were visiting for our honeymoon and this place was perfect for us. The plunge pool was clutch with the very hot weather, we had plenty of peace and privacy, and it was walkable to great bars, restaurants, shops and a 30 second walk to the beach...

If you are looking for a special place to stay in Puerto Escondido, I can not recommend this place enough.
 

This is literally the BEST place you can stay in puerto Escondido! It is awesome, so Instagram friendly lol. It was spotless clean, best location in la punta , you could really walk to all the best places there. It was calm and serene and very private so we were super comfortable. Also James is very helpfull and will make sure you have the best stay in here. Totally recomendable this place, this is te reason I love airbnb, cus you can find amazing places like this one! Lunaya is everything you could want in a villa, from the design of the building and spaces, to the small details of materials used and decorative additions. Everything is so thoughtful, practical and sustainable. We felt so relaxed and at ease in the space - a sanctuary of sorts. The staff were responsive and helpful as well... The location is great - close to the drag in la Punta, and an easy walk to the beach. I am so thankful for our time there - truly made our trip to PE special.
 

My only doubt in writing this review is that more people will want to book this accommodation and maybe it will be full when we want to return. This is honestly the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The private pool is exactly what you need when it's hot in La Punta. The minimalist style is perfect and makes you feel relaxed and at home. If you surf, you couldn't be closer to rest. Makes dawn patrol so easy. The outdoor shower is perfect for washing off after surfing. Last but not least, air conditioning is perfect and very necessary.

Lunaya is by far the most beautiful, well-thought-out accommodations I have ever stayed in, no question. Every inch of this place is so intentional, but yet so minimalistic. Although the location is most ideal being just steps away from the best beach and restaurants, my boyfriend and I didn’t want to leave the room and private pool. The free flowing design is stunning, and so practical. I wish I could live in this space.

The hosts are extremely kind, accommodating, and quick to respond. They helped us with everything from planning fishing and bioluminescence tours, to early transportation to and from the airport. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lunaya. 11/10 🤍
